Project Title: Food trails of Raksirang
Location: Raksirang, Makwanpur
Synopsis:
The remote village of Raksirang in the mountains of Makwanpur is land of the native Chepang People. Despite growing urban pressure towards manufactured food, the Chepang’s are custodian’s of their land maintaining a resilient bond of co-dependence with the forest securing several varieties of native indigenous crop found only in this locality.
