Project Name: Bhalu Makai (Bhalu Corn)
Location: Bhume Rural Municipality, East Rukum
Synopsis: A native corn species in Eastern Rukum is instrumental to for food security amongst the locals. In the arid land surrounding Bhume Rural Municipality, Bhalu Makai is key for the success of the Government’s afternoon meal scheme in local Schools.
