Film submission is now open for the 2026 edition of Something Like a Film Festival (SLFF). First held in 2011, SLFF is a nomadic festival observed to celebrate diversity of cinema in all forms. The festival focuses on showcasing fiction and documentaries from young creators whose films are seldom shown in the public. We also accept student films and amateur home video projects.

Submission is open for films under 30 minute length, made before January 2025. This years program is open to filmmakers from Nepal and Asia. Films other than in Nepali language should be subtitled in English.

SLFF’26 will be held between 26 - 28 of June, with day long shows at Airavat Picture House. A total of 30 films will be shown with each film shown for minimum 2 slots. There are no categories for submission. The festival charges no submission fee.
