Synopsis:
Gaighat Zumba is a documentary film that follows a group of women in Gaighat, Udayapur, Nepal, who gather every morning for Zumba. Beyond exercise, the group creates a space where women of different ages, backgrounds, and social groups build friendship, confidence, and solidarity while challenging traditional perceptions of women in public spaces. Through their shared routine, the film celebrates community, inclusion, and women’s empowerment.
