Documentary Open School

You made it

Documentary Open School (Docskool) is a pro-participation film and media institute. Docskool organises documentary workshops, writing lab, film courses, film festival and visual art residency in Kathmandu.

Initiated in 2008, Docskool provides opportunities mostly absent in mainstream practice. Our professional film labs cater to a growing number of mobile talents seeking collaboration across South Asia.

Docskool’s skill-oriented crourses are non-formal, alternative learning options offered from its Dhulikhel campus, 45 kms. off Kathmandu. The farm campus currently forms the backbone for most of Docskool’s operations.
